Yesterday I went to see "Flushed Away" with K. and her two sons. They were well behaved so we were able to enjoy the film without distractions.

If you haven't yet seen "Flushed Away", it's sort of a cross between "Lara Croft", "James Bond", and "The Prince and the Pauper" as told by animated rats. The female protagonist is a good role model for young girls.

I'm tempted to see it again so I can see the stuff hidden in the background. If you look carefully you'll see Han Solo.

The credits are worth sitting through (nothing dramatic happens, but just the same level of silliness through out the credits).

It was also nice to get a chance to briefly see K. We were friends in college and even though she lives in the same area I don't seen her that often.

The next movie I want to see is "Casino Royale". Will it be as fun as the original movie with Peter Sellers, David Niven, Peter Sellers, Woody Allen, Peter Sellers and Ursula Andress?

Edit:
Someone pointed out to me that there was a b&w TV version of Casino Royale made in the 50s. Peter Lorre as Le Chiffre was wonderful.

I went to see the new version of "Casino Royale" with A & G. I enjoyed it, but I didn't like it as much as the earlier 60s Bond films.

You do know that this Casino Royale is not a remake of the previous one, but a return to the Bond-origin story of the original novel (well, updated for modern times, supposedly)? It's not intended to be a comedy.

Yes.

I've seen every Bond film at least once, but the first "Casino Royale" is still my favorite Bond film. Most of the newer films were not as memorable as the earlier films with Sean Connery.
