I haven't found any other place that makes cider doughnuts like the ones at Russell Orchards. They're probably my favorite of that ilk, and are indeed best eaten hot out of the fryer (though they're not bad reheated in a toaster oven), washed down with a cup of (preferably unpasteurized) cider.
