The supply truck arrived an hour before the roofers. Fortunately, I knew where the roofers wanted him to put the stuff.

Edit: Make that 1.5 hours before the roofers.

Are you getting shingled over the existing roof or are they ripping it all off and starting fresh? Good luck given the current weather forecasts!

They're removing the existing roof.

Over the master bedroom they'll install "ventilated nailbase insulation panels". The bedroom has a cathedral ceiling with no insulation, so this allows them to put the insulation on top of the roof deck, and still have the roof vented to prevent ice dams.

Oh wow, that's really cool. If we needed more done to our roof, I'd consider having something like that put on. *crosses fingers* but hopefully our roof is just the simple straight up repair job that our contractor thinks it is going to be.
