Bears VS Belarus
Aug. 21st, 2012 05:27 pmIn July, two Swedes flew over Belarus dropping 800 teddy bears with parachutes and pro-democracy messages.
Since then two generals and the foreign minister have been fired and journalists and bloggers have been either fined or thrown in jail for publishing photos of the bears.
Perhaps after years of tight control, teddy bears might lead to change in Belarus under President Lukashenko, aka "The Last European Dictator".
