Okay, I looked at the URL, after I commented, How do they determine something like that on a radar image? wow.

My guess is there were plenty of witnesses to confirm what the radar saw.

I didn't look at the URL so I'm truly guessing. The action looks like it's happening along a river, so maybe floodwaters spreading? Or some sort of off-gassing, since it looks like it's roughly moving northward?

Of course, now I have to go look and see what it is.

Holy moly! I couldn't figure out what it was, so I looked at the image name, and how in the hell could the radar pick up such a thing???
