Next Friday (5/14), my carpenter (David) and I are planning the first phase of pouring a concrete floor in my basement). If anyone can help, it will be greatly appreciated.
The cement truck is scheduled to arrive at 10am. David says that once the truck arrives it'll take about three hours to deal with the concrete delivery (there will be more work after that, but most of that can be done by just David). If you can help, it's critical that you arrive before the concrete truck.
If you RSVP by this afternoon and let me know your shoe size (in a men's shoe), I'll get you a pair of rubber boots from Home Depot (wet cement is very caustic). You should bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
Lunch will also be provided.
