I found another use of Google Street view; finding the name of a restaurant in Rome that I visited 5 years ago for my father (we ate there almost every night on the trip, because my father liked it (decent food, good prices, friendly staff)).

First, I had to find the hotel we stayed at (it's near the pyramid), so once I found it, finding the hotel was easy. Then I used Google Street view to try "walking" to restaurant. The street market and pharmacy at the corner as I remembered it helped confirm the location.

I wanted to let you know that I tried to find the place but it wasn't open when we were there in the late morning. Too bad. :-(
