I recently found a very evil, online used book store (aka pusher).

Thrift Books sells used books starting $4. Shipping is free, but if you order multiple books from the same warehouse (they have a couple), all but the first book are discounted by $0.50. "Expedited" shipping is $3, but I got my books fast enough without it.

I placed my first order with them a couple of weeks ago, and the books arrived within a week (un-expedited).

The books in "very good" condition arrived looking unread or lightly read.

I just placed a second order with them.

Definitely evil.

there's a chain of evil used books in the area now "used book superstore" or some such. Nashua has one. paper backs are $2, hardcovers are $3, and other variations depending on type. often there are sales, so paperbacks were $1 - got the entire ender series for the cost of one new book. yar.

they have a fair amount of semi-current tech books, text books, and all manner of other stuff. evile!

The Used Book Superstore (http://www.usedbooksuperstore.com/) is a fun place to explore (I usually go to their Burlington store), but you'll never know what you'll find there.

Actually it's your fault I ended up on their website.

You had a set of "The Wilds of Canada" coasters in the back room. They reminded me to search the web for the collection of his cartoons (I have a T-shirt with his "Polo Bear" cartoon). ThriftBooks.com had good prices on them (they had both of them).
