Tesla Coil Film, Wednesday, MoS
Nov. 6th, 2012 12:37 pmTomorrow night, Wednesday, the Museum of Science is showing a short documentary (30 min) about a giant Tesla coil that has been built in New Zealand. It's followed by a talk and a demo ("We'll kick it up a notch").
The Boston Globe article says that Steampunk costumes are encouraged and the three best costumes get to go inside the Faraday cage during the demo.
Tickets are $15 and can be bought online at MoS site (there's a $1.50 fee).

(The Boston Globe article has more info about the event and the film than the MoS site)
I'm going, and probably will get a quick meal before the event at the MoS.
It's been a while since I've been to the lightning demo at the MoS, but I think you might want to bring earplugs.
