Late Night Visitors

While sitting at my computer with some music playing, I heard a rustling noise coming from the papers next to me. Looking down, I saw a degu looking up at me. While I carefully backed my chair out from my desk the degu waddled off into Ann's room. I quickly went to the room with the degu cage and checked the cage I accidentally left open and determined that both degus were on the loose.

Going back to Ann's room, I quickly retrieved the degus and returned them to their cage. They seemed rather annoyed that I interrupted the fun the were having exploring the rooms.
