The Avengers

If you like superhero movies, "The Avengers" is a fun movie.

If you like staying to watch the credits for easter eggs. There are two. One at the start of the scrolling credits (that give hints about future movies) and another at the end of the credits that is silly (it follows up on a throw away line near the end of the movie).

The entire series thus far has had easter eggs at the end of the credits for each movie.

Yes. But in this case, I wanted to make sure folks knew there are TWO easter eggs at the end of movie.

(Out of habit, I usually sit all the way through the credits in a movie. My favorite is at the very end of "Better Off Dead", the credits say "The film's over... you can go now.").

Ferris Bueller has a similar "go home" at the end of the credits. I couldn't remember which came first.

IMDB says "Better Off Dead" (a classic) came out in 1985, "Ferrs Bueller" came out in 1986.

27 years ago? Eeek!

Yeah, I was fooled by the first one. We figured "oh thank gods Joss didn't make us wait all the way through."

But we were planning to see it again anyway...

Eh, I almost always stay to the end of the credits. I like to see how much tech there is, and cheer if there's a section of sysadmins. :D If other people don't want to, that's their loss :D
