In fact--and I shouldn't say this loudly in an Armenian neighborhood--lahmacun, lamejune, or however it's spelled in the particular place serving it, is served in many places in the former Ottoman imperial lands. and in places where immigrants from those lands have settled. I saw them in Turkey, Syria, and Cyprus.
