Last week, I was out shopping and I found Valentine Day themed spatulas, which reminded me of the Aunt Jemima Treatment scene from Stripes.

Then this week, just before I go grocery shopping, I read a comic strip about shredded cheese at the grocery store.

This reminds me of my irrational love of the fact that the word "spatula" refers to two entirely different and non-interchangeable kitchen utensils.
