After a happy life with my parents, their dog Sophie died. I visited my parents for Mothers' Day, so I got to say "Good Bye" to her.

During hunting season, my parents made sure that Sophie wore orange for protection.
(She stole the orange hat)

But she never learned to drive.

Sophie liked it when the nieces visited.

Sophie enjoyed being part of the family meal

She like meeting others.

One of her favorite places to nap, was on the breezeway where she could guard the house.

She's a komondor (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Komondor), a Hungarian sheepdog. The dreadlocks are a feature of the breed (they are a form of protection against predators).
